Spring rolls with frozen voiced vegetables inside... yuck. Dishes were dirty... My wife ordered the mahi mahi that came in a put almost like fish stew. Unappetizing... sent back and they did remove from the bill (only positive). When waitress came to table with water she was talking on the cell phone!!! That was a first!!! Don't plan to be back ever again.

First time here. Came for a friends birthday. It said waterfront view and there are outside and inside seating. There are very large boats parked where you would see the water. They set us inside cause bugs love me. . The First Lady sat us down and it was a little while before we got a drink. We finally got our orders in and they had entertainment. then that was nice and brought back old memories. Mo Town. The waiter was so nice and made sure the birthday girl was happy,Oh by the way his name was Dillon. He was super and worked hard to keep us happy. . The food was good but my other friend got nachos with chicken she found 2 small pieces of chicken. Mine was an appetizer, loaded baked potato with beef it was okay small potato. Beef butter and sour cream. Was a crowded place and people that were going out said they came weekly. Everyone seem to be having a great time. Even we did. Might just come back.

My daughter just took me out for Mothers Day. We have eaten here many times but the food was horrible today. After coming home I feel like the bathroom will soon be my favorite room. When my daughter complained to owner or manager he was very rude and agreed to take 15% off bill. It shouldve been 50% off. Will never go back. Nauti Parrott you have a new customer.

This was a terrible dining experience. Stopped in for lunch today, place was quite empty but we figured it was a weekday and it is August in SW Florida. We ordered drinks - a rumrunner, 2 mango margaritas on the rocks, a vodka and soda. We were then told that our server had to make our drinks so we should please be patient as they dont have a bartender during the day. The rumrunner came out on the rocks and the waitress couldnt figure out how to make a margarita on the rocks so she just made them frozen - "ok?" not that we were given a choice. The vodka drink came with flat soda. We ordered two of their specialty brisket po boy sandwiches, a burger that was supposed to be topped with mushrooms, onions and swiss and wings. Wings were good. The brisket sandwiches were like steak-ums covered in cheese, onions, mushrooms on day old bread. The burger tasted good but there were virtually no onions and there were green peppers too (guess we got the fajita toppings). The bun tasted stale. The coleslaw was rotten, tasted like fish. The server said sorry I dont cook the food, if there was something i could do, i would. Good luck in your next life Jack - im sure you'll be out of business soon....

The food was basic and boring. They had no guacamole and their chips were very greasy! I ordered the special garlic chicken with rice and beans. The chicken tasted like it had been frozen too long and the black beans had little flavor. My husband liked his carne asada tacos and the location was nice. However I would not go back for the food.

This place was awesome. Food was great, service was great, the people are awesome! Had a DJ tonight and everyone was singing, dancing and enjoying themselves! Definitely going there again!

The two stars are for the location. I was there yesterday and got a cheese dip that was the consistency of soup. I asked the waiter to look at what I was talking about and he completely agreed with me and said it never looks like that. Then proceeded to just walk away...not offer to replace it, not offered to take it off the bill, not offer me something else. I told him everything else was fine. That to me is just bad, lazy service. The location is wonderful. Perfect for a beer and a view.

Pulled pork was undercooked, enchilada was dry, beans were cold. No cheese on a cheeseburger and got shredded lettuce for a burned burger. Manager was a total dick about it too. Will never come back.

Great value for dining on the water! Live music good drink specials. We had the Monterey Chicken and Fish Tacos. Both very generous servings and tasty. The menu had a good variety, and even though we didn't try them, the wings look amazing. Also they are dog friendly here, which is a plus for me. The only downsides that I saw were at peak time, the kitchen and staff cannot keep up and no craft beer selection. I will definitely be back.

New owner doesn't mean new service. Boycotted this restaurant in the summer as they treat locals poorly. Invited by musicians who said there was new management. Sat down, was passed by every server in the place. 15 minutes pass, someone finally says just a minute, 10 pass, and the worse server (regina) I have ever had began a unfulfilling dining experience. Ordered 2 appetizers, which took 25 minutes to arrive, both cold, and quesadillas with 2 tiny pieces of chicken. Had to ask a different server for the manager.

We elected to be seated in "outside dining" which was on the water and covered by a Tiki roof. Interesting menu, good food, good service, reasonable prices. So far, so good--but a woman was chain SMOKING at a table next to us. UGH! I haven't seen smoking in a restaurant or a in bar for 20 years. A supervisor said that smoking is allowed in "outside dining" areas of local restaurants--I replied that even if it is legal and customary in the area, it will bring negative reviews--and here is one. We won't return.

We have been here on at least 5 occasions and find that it has consistently good, hot food. The prices are very reasonable, especially if you hit their "power hour" 3-5 (75 cent Tacos & wings mmmm) or Happy Hour. Their mild spicy wings are the best we have ever tasted. Great burgers, juicy and packed with all the condiments. $2.00 cans of ice cold PBR served in an ice cold mug. The service has always been good, especially their inside bar maids. The owners are hands on, very accommodating and social. The atmosphere is laid back and casual with good entertainment on most nights that we patronized the place. Finally, we love the location as you are right on the water and can stroll down the sidewalk after dinner and take a gander at the variety of yachts at the marina. Highly recommended!

by far worst place to eat. Had wings and ordered them well done but they came out undercooked. I ate them anyways (big mistake) sick for 3 days...can anyone say salmonella.... I called and talked to owner he didn't care. Eat at your own risk.... I'll never go back to this petri dish!!!

This is one of my favorite places since I've moved to North Fort Myers. I love sitting by the water, watching the boats go by while I enjoy my meal and Cactus Jack's delivers. I'm not a big fish fan, but I've wanted to add it to my diet, hoping that Florida would have tastier fish. Cactus Jack's has tasty fish. The fish fry, fish and chips, and fish tacos are yummy. If you go there during happy hour, drinks are cheap, too. I had 2 beers which was less expensive than the pop. Their burgers are gigantic, from what I've seen. Also, they have live entertainment some nights which has been really good. The servers are friendly. I'm glad I found this gem. It can be a bit loud when the bands are playing, but other than that, it's quieter.

This place sucks. The staff, while pleasant and meaning well are disorganized clearly overworked. Forgetting a customers order is never a good thing. The menu is lackluster and unoriginal. I had a BBQ chicken breast that was as thin as a pancake drenched in an obvious purchased BBQ sauce which then had a ton of black pepper added to it. The rest of the menu is just as disappointing. This place is clearly meant to be a watering hole for the over 60 snowbird crowd. If you want to go on the weekend you can hang out with these drunken snowbirds and shake it to one of two regular musical acts which are just as disappointing as the menu. It's a shame with this location it could be so much better. If you are thinking of this place do yourself a favor and go next door, to Banana Joe's.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque.
